CHARITY EVENT - Serenity of the Sea @ Brightlingsea

Come and join us on Thursday 7th July 2022 at Brightlingsea Community Centre, Lower Park Road, Brightlingsea, for a relaxed and enjoyable evening painting our calming Serenity of the Sea whilst raising funds for the Community Centre. 

No experience needed. You can either follow the step by step instructions or ‘express yourself’ by putting your own personal touches on it as much as you feel comfortable to do so. If you so wish, you can change the colours (maybe to fit in with home décor or a favourite colour), change the silhouettes (if applicable) or add extra details. We just love it when people get creative but we are equally as happy when people stick to the set piece. It’s totally your choice. At the end of the evening you will have a painting that you love to take home and cherish.

We supply everything you need to paint including a blank 16” by 20” stretched canvas, quality acrylic paints and brushes, paint palette, water pot and apron.

There is a maximum of 25 tickets for this event, so be sure to get yours early to avoid disappointment. Once the event sells outs, if you would like to go on the reserve list and to be informed of future events please email events@expressyourselfessex.co.uk

There is a fully stocked bar onsite and there will also be a raffle on the evening raising further funds.

Whilst our events are aimed at adults, this venue is family friend and therefore older children are welcome to come paint with their parent(s) or guardian(s).

This event will start promptly at 7:00pm and run to around 10pm.   As a minimum, please arrive 10 minutes early to book in and grab a drink from the bar.

There is car parking on site.

Old clothing is recommended just in case there are any accidents with the acrylic paints. Aprons will be provided.   We will be taking photos throughout the event for our website and social media. Please advise us if you do not wish to be featured in these photos.

In order to maximise fund raising potential, a small booking fee of 73p per ticket will be applied at checkout. As a charity event there are no refunds on tickets but we are happy for you to pass your tickets onto friends or family if you are unable to attend. Please advise us of change of ticket holder name(s).

In the unlikely circumstance of this event being cancelled or postponed due to CoVid-19 we will offer a new date, a change to a different event or a full refund. Please do not attend if you are showing any CoVid symptoms or have tested positive.
