Terms and Conditions

I / we / us / the company / the business / EYPP refers to the company trading as Express Yourself Paint Parties.

User / guest / customer / you refers to any third party that accesses the website or attends any of our events that are not employed by Express Yourself Paint Parties.

Event refers to in person, online, charity, corporate or private events.

Website refers to , and all social media channels attributed to Express Yourself Paint Parties or Express Yourself Essex.

Venue refers to any building or space that our events are held.  

Covid-19 Security

Express Yourself Paint Parties takes CoVid-19 Security very seriously for the safety and wellbeing of our guests, staff and venues.   We have fully reviewed our processes and procedures through a Covid-19 Risk Assessment, as well as reviewing each venues CovId-19 Risk Assessment.

We will

  • Reduce event participation to a reasonable number taking into account the venue space and social distancing.

  • Disinfect all painting equipment before our guests arrive.

  • Increase ventilation in our events space where possible by way of opening windows and doors. 

  • Layout our events space to ensure non households / bubbles are spaced at least 2 meters from one another.


We ask all out guests to

  • Not attend our event(s) if they are experiencing CoVid-19 symptoms / testing positive / awaiting test results / self-isolating.

  • If we witness any of our guests displaying CoVid-19 symptoms, we will ask them and their household / bubble to leave the event. Please do not take offence to this, we are trying to keep everyone safe. 

  • Sign into the venue via the venue track and trace system.

  • Use alcohol gel on arrival and each time you return to our event space.

  • Wear face coverings when moving around the venue in line with current government guidelines.

  • Remain seated whilst in our venue space.

  • Not share paint brushes or other equipment during our events.

  • Follow any venue specific guidelines and signage. This will be communicated to you either via email or as part of the event introduction.


In the event of you experiencing CoVid-19 symptoms / testing positive / awaiting test results / self-isolating you MUST NOT attend any of our events. In this instances, providing you have given us 24 hours notice, we will happily transfer your ticket onto another event or date (providing tickets are available).




All events must be prebooked via our website in advance of the event. You must provide evidence of a valid ticket either via a printed ticket or via a mobile device.  We do not sell tickets on the door nor do we take cash for tickets.


Refund Policy


Tickets are non-refundable but giving a minimum of seven days notice prior to the booked event, we will happily transfer your tickets onto another event or date (providing tickets are available).


Tickets are non-transferable unless by prior agreement in writing. If you have a need to transfer a ticket, please email us at


Tickets must not be resold in any way or form. Tickets carry no monetary value.


Unfortunately No Show’s will not be entitled to any refunds or transfer.  


Event Cancelation


Whilst we would do everything to ensure our events are able to go ahead, if there are any unavoidable / unforeseen factors and we have to cancel an event, we will give as much notice as possible, via email. You will be offered the choice of a full refund, transferring tickets to another venue or another date.


Age Restrictions


Whilst we do not have any age restriction on our events, some of our venues may operate such age restrictions. We will communicate this to you on the Events Listing page.


Both EYPP and the venue reserve the right to ask for proof of ID. Some venues may operate Challenge 25. If entry is refused due to no ID, no refunds or transfers will be entered into.


Venue Policies and Procedures


Please do not bring your own food or drink to events held in public houses (pubs), restaurants, hotels or any licensed premises. You may bring your own food and drink to events held within village halls / community centres.  This will be clearly stated on the Events Listing Page.  


We can not be held accountable for any personal belongings during our events. Any personal belongs must remain in your possession throughout the event.


Charity / Corporate / Private Events


We will undertake charity, corporate and private events on an event by event basis.  Where a set fee has been agreed, 50% of the fee must be paid at time of booking.  Where a pro rata fee has been agreed, 50% of the minimum number agreed must be paid at time of booking.  All balances are due no later than 72hours before the event.

We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and adhere to all General Data Protection Regulations.  We will not sell or share your personal details to any third party under any circumstances.


Intellectual Property and Copyright


We either own or have licensed of all information including pictures, paintings, photographs, logo’s, design rights and other intellectual property rights (registered and unregistered)  used within this website and at our events.


You may not copy, modify, reproduce, share, post, display, print, publish, license, transfer or sell any information obtained on this website.


You may copy, modify, reproduce, share, post, gift, giveaway and display any artwork produced via any of our events in a personal capacity but if doing so online we would politely ask you to tag us in using #ExpressYourselfPaintParties or #ExpressYourselfEssex 


You may not sell any artwork produced via any of our events or reproduce them in a professional capacity.




All young people and vulnerable adults must be accompanied by an adult.


Our family events are aimed at young people.  We would request each adult is responsible for no more than three children. Accompanying adults can choose to paint their own painting (in which case a paid ticket will be needed) or can either support or watch their charge(s). 


All EYPP staff will be DBS checked.
