Heather the Highland Cow @ Colchester

Come and join us on Thursday 1st September 2022 at The Stanway Village Hall, Villa Road, Colchester for a relaxed and enjoyable evening painting our super adorable Heather the Highland Cow under the expert instruction of our workshop leaders Sarah.

No experience needed. You can either follow the step by step instructions or ‘express yourself’ by putting your own personal touches on it as much as you feel comfortable to do so. If you so wish, you can change the colours (maybe to fit in with home décor or a favourite colour), change the silhouettes (if applicable) or add extra details. We just love it when people get creative but we are equally as happy when people stick to the set piece. It’s totally your choice. At the end of the evening you will have a painting that you love to take home and cherish.

We supply everything you need to paint including a blank 16” by 20” stretched canvas, quality acrylic paints and brushes, paint palette, water pot and apron.

The cow outline will be pretraced onto your canvas ready for you to paint. 

Whilst our events are aimed at adults, this venue is family friend and therefore older children are welcome to come paint with their parent(s) or guardian(s).

TIME CHANGE: This event will start promptly at 7:30pm and run to around 10.30pm.   The venue is a village hall so please brig your own drinks and nibbles. 

As a minimum, please arrive 10 minutes early to book in and get settled.

There is car parking available.  

Old clothing is recommended just in case there are any accidents with the acrylic paints. Aprons will be provided.   We will be taking photos throughout the event for our website and social media. Please advise us if you do not wish to be featured in these photos.
