Holly the Highland Cow @ Colchester

Come and join us on Thursday 7th December 2023 at Stanway Community Centre, Villa Road, Colchester for a relaxed and enjoyable evening painting our super cute Holly the Highland Cow under the expert instruction of our workshop leader Sarah.

No experience needed. You can either follow the step by step instructions or ‘express yourself’ by putting your own personal touches on it as much as you feel comfortable to do so. If you so wish, you can change the colours (maybe to fit in with home décor or a favourite colour), change the silhouettes (if applicable) or add extra details. We just love it when people get creative but we are equally as happy when people stick to the set piece. It’s totally your choice. At the end of the evening you will have a painting that you love to take home and cherish.

We supply everything you need to paint including a blank 16” by 20” stretched canvas, quality acrylic paints and brushes, paint palette, water pot and apron. Your canvas will be pretraced. 

Whilst our events are aimed at adults, this venue is family friend and therefore older children are welcome to come paint with their parent(s) or guardian(s).

This event will start promptly at 7:30pm and run to around 10:30pm.   There is no food or drink provision at this venue so please bring your own. 

As a minimum, please arrive 10 minutes early to book in and grab a drink from the bar.

There is a large car parking. 

Old clothing is recommended just in case there are any accidents with the acrylic paints. Aprons will be provided.   We will be taking photos throughout the event for our website and social media. Please advise us if you do not wish to be featured in these photos.

In the unlikely circumstance of this event being cancelled or postponed due to CoVid-19 we will offer a new date, a change to a different event or a full refund. If you are showing CoVid symptoms or have tested positive please do not attend the event. In that circumstance, please contact us and we will move you to another event.
