Holly the Highland Cow @ Walton-on-the-Naze

Come and join us on Tuesday 22nd October 2024 at the Yates Fish Bar, 15-21 Old Pier Street, Walton-on-the-Naze for a relaxed and enjoyable evening painting our super cute Holly the Highland Cow under the expert instruction of our workshop leaders Sarah.

No experience needed. You can either follow the instructions or ‘express yourself’ by putting your own personal touches on it as much as you feel comfortable to do so. If you so wish, you can change the colours (maybe to fit in with home décor or a favourite colour), change the silhouettes (if applicable) or add extra details. We just love it when people get creative but we are equally as happy when people stick to the set pace. It’s totally your choice. At the end of the evening you should have a painting that you love.

We supply everything you need to paint including a blank 16” by 20” stretched canvas, quality acrylic paints and brushes, paint palette, water pot and apron. For this painting, your canvas will be pre-traced.

This event will start promptly at 6:30pm and run to around 9.30pm.   Food, Soft drinks and hot drinks available. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN. As the restaurant doesn’t have an alcohol license, you may bring alcohol but there is a £5 per person corkage fee to be paid on arrival.

Whilst our events are aimed at adults, this venue is family friend and therefore older children are welcome to come paint with their parent(s) or guardian(s).

As a minimum, please arrive 10 minutes early to book in and get settled or why not come early and have food before the Paint Party.

Car parking is available at Mill Lane Car Park (CO14 8PE – charges apply, free after 6pm) as well as limited on road parking (please be aware of permit restrictions on some roads).

Old clothing is recommended just in case there are any accidents with the acrylic paints. Aprons will be provided.

We will be taking photos throughout the event for our website and social media. Please advise us at the start of the evening if you do not wish to be featured in these photos.
