Love you to the Moon @ Colchester

Come and join us on Monday 21st February 2022 at The Albert Beefeater, Cowdray Avenue, Colchester for a relaxed and enjoyable evening painting our variable Love you to the Moon under the expert instruction of our workshop leaders Sarah.

For this painting we will be using stencils for the main silhouette and wording. As such there will be a big choice of main silhouettes including the couple on a bench, a young couple cuddling, couple holding hands, man and daughter as well as various cats and dogs. You really can make this painting your own.

THIS IS THE EVENING PAINT PARTY STARTING AT 7PM.

No experience needed. You can either follow the step by step instructions or ‘express yourself’ by putting your own personal touches on it as much as you feel comfortable to do so. If you so wish, you can change the colours (maybe to fit in with home décor or a favourite colour), change the silhouettes (if applicable) or add extra details. We just love it when people get creative but we are equally as happy when people stick to the set piece. It’s totally your choice. At the end of the evening you will have a painting that you love to take home and cherish.

We supply everything you need to paint including a blank 16” by 20” stretched canvas, quality acrylic paints and brushes, paint palette, water pot and apron.

Whilst our events are aimed at adults, this venue is family friend and therefore older children are welcome to come paint with their parent(s) or guardian(s).

As a minimum, please arrive 10 minutes early to book in and grab a drink from the bar.

There is car parking available to the front of the restaurant and an overflow car park to the rear. Please do not park in the hotel car park.

Old clothing is recommended just in case there are any accidents with the acrylic paints. Aprons will be provided.   We will be taking photos throughout the event for our website and social media. Please advise us if you do not wish to be featured in these photos.
