Poppet the Penguin @ Southend-on-Sea

Come and join us on Wednesday 7th December 2022 at The Bell Toby Carvery, Princes Avenue, Southend-on-Sea  for a relaxed and enjoyable evening painting our super cute Poppet the Penguin under the expert instruction of our workshop leaders Tia.

You can either follow the instructions or ‘express yourself’ by putting your own personal touches on it as much as you feel comfortable to do so. If you so wish, you can change the colours (maybe to fit in with home décor or a favourite colour), change the silhouettes or add extra details. We just love it when people get creative but we are equally as happy when people stick to the set pace. It’s totally your choice. At the end of the evening you should have a painting that you love.

There is an added option with this Paint Party of having your painting made into Christmas Cards. 10 Cards for £6 or 20 Cards for £9. You can purchase this by selecting General Entry + 10 Xmas Cards / General Entry + 20 Xmas Cards or by emailing is at events@expressyourselfessex.co.uk Cards will be delivered by 1st December.

This event will start promptly at 7:00pm and run to around 10pm.   Please arrive 10 minutes early to book in and grab a drink from the bar. There is plenty of FREE car parking available on site. Please ensure you add your car registration to the parking system on arrival at the venue.

Old clothing is recommended just in case there are any accidents with the acrylic paints. Aprons will be provided.   We will be taking photos throughout the event for our website and social media. Please advise us if you do not wish to be featured in these photos.

Whilst our events are aimed at adults, this venue is family friend and therefore older children are welcome to come paint with their parent(s) or guardian(s).

We will review and update our policies as and when restrictions change. In the unlikely circumstance of this event being cancelled or postponed due to CoVid-19 we will offer a new date, a change to a different event or a full refund. If you are showing CoVid symptoms or have tested positive please do not attend the event. In that circumstance, please contact us and we will move you to another event.
