Valentine Lake @ Witham

Come and join us on Thursday 14th April 2022 at The Old Pottery Kiln, Gershwin Boulevard, Witham for a relaxed and enjoyable evening painting our romantic Valentine Lake under the expert instruction of our workshop leaders Sarah.

No experience needed. You can either follow the step by step instructions or ‘express yourself’ by putting your own personal touches on it as much as you feel comfortable to do so. If you so wish, you can change the colours (maybe to fit in with home décor or a favourite colour), change the silhouettes (if applicable) or add extra details. We just love it when people get creative but we are equally as happy when people stick to the set piece. It’s totally your choice. At the end of the evening you will have a painting that you love to take home and cherish.

With this painting you have the choice to either paint Valentine Lake as one canvas (landscape) or you and a special someone / friend can paint Valentine Lake over two portrait canvases making one complete painting when they are hung next to each other.  (Two tickets will need to be purchased for this option)

We supply everything you need to paint including a blank 16” by 20” stretched canvas, quality acrylic paints and brushes, paint palette, water pot and apron.

The barge can be painted either freehand or using our supplied barge stencil.

As a minimum, please arrive 10 minutes early to book in and grab a drink from the bar.

There is car parking available onsite.

Old clothing is recommended just in case there are any accidents with the acrylic paints. Aprons will be provided.   We will be taking photos throughout the event for our website and social media. Please advise us if you do not wish to be featured in these photos.

Whilst our events are aimed at adults, this venue is family friend and therefore older children are welcome to come paint with their parent(s) or guardian(s).
