Winter Robins @ Chelmsford

Come and join us on Monday 6th November 2023 at the Rising Sun, 232 New London Rd, Chelmsford for a relaxed and enjoyable evening painting our adorable Winter Robins under the expert instruction of our workshop leader Emily.

For just £29, we supply everything you need to paint including a quality 20”x16” stretched canvas, acrylic paints, brushes, easel and apron as well as expert tuition. You canvas will be pre-traced with the robins / birdbox outline. 

At the end of the evening you get to keep your painting to treasure.

No experience needed. You can either follow the instructions or ‘express yourself’ by putting your own personal touches on it as much as you feel comfortable to do so. If you so wish, you can change the colours (maybe to fit in with home décor or a favourite colour), change the silhouettes (if applicable) or add extra details. We just love it when people get creative but we are equally as happy when people stick to the set pace. It’s totally your choice. At the end of the evening you should have a painting that you love.

There is an added option with this Paint Party of having your painting made into Christmas Cards. 10 Cards for £7 or 20 Cards for £10. This event will start promptly at 7:00pm and run to around 10pm. Doors open at 6.30pm. As a minimum, please arrive 10 minutes early to book in and grab a drink from the bar. This is a licensed venue, PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN. All drinks and snacks must be purchased on the premises.

PLEASE NOTE – The Rising Sun is an over 18's pub with a strict challenge 25 policy but we have been granted an exception to this therefore teenagers are allowed to paint with their parent / guardian.

Parking is restricted at the pub but there is on street parking down Moulsham Street.

Old clothing is recommended just in case there are any accidents with the acrylic paints. Aprons will be provided.   We will be taking photos throughout the event for our website and social media. Please advise us if you do not wish to be featured in these photos.

As per our CoVid-19 policy, we will review and update our policies as and when restrictions change. In the unlikely circumstance of this event being cancelled or postponed due to CoVid-19 we will offer a new date, a change to a different event or a full refund.
